Luke 7

Centurion shows great faith. Take note of his humility as well. “I am unworthy”

The widow’s son. Two parties colliding outside the city gates. One of hope the other of death. The Jews equates Jesus as a great prophet, Elijah.

John. Point his disciples to Jesus. John’s emotional state. Not a reed shaken in the wind. Does not please man.

The sinful woman. Mat 11. Weary and heavy laden. Jesus Commending this woman and repremanding Simeon. When your heart is sin every you draw out hate. Simeon thought he was the lesser sinner. His Sin of pride was greater than the woman’s outward sin. There is no lesser sin in God’s sight. It is what God can do with us not what is your background. A pictorial illustration of her devotion.

Luke 7:47

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.”
